How to set your preferred English dialect

Hemingway Editor Plus can adapt its spelling, grammar, and AI features for your preferred English dialect, including British, Canadian, Indian, Australian, Irish, South African, and New Zealand English.

Default English preference

Hemingway defaults to using the English preference that you've set in your browser. Usually, this also reflects the English dialect you've set as your preferred language in your computer's operating system.

Manually setting your preferred English preference

By default, Hemingway will recognize your preferred dialect based on your browser settings. If you would like to change it, head over to the User Settings page and make sure your preferred English dialect is set.
