On the Team Plan, you can now control which users have permission to manage Editor Plus billing settings and team members. We're committed to making Editor Plus easy for organizations to use.
Restricting users from sensitive settings
Before today, every user on your Editor Plus team had the same permissions in the app.
On the Team Page, you can now limit team members by setting their role to User. This will allow them to use Editor Plus as usual, but not to be able to change your plan, payment settings, or to manage the other users on the team.
Letting IT or finance manage settings
You can also allow team leaders, IT pros, or finance colleagues to manage your Hemingway Editor Plus team account. We've added a role called Admin Only that gives a team member permission to manage billing or team settings, without using up a paid license. These users can't use Editor Plus' AI features, but don't cost your organization a license spot.
How to configure team roles
You can edit the roles of each teammate on the Team Page. You can also now set the intended role of a new user when you invite them to your team.
